Border Security: America’s Front Line

Border Security: America’s Front Line follows the work of US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officers. We follow their work as they screen travelers entering the country, and inspect cargo, packages, and agricultural products destined for US soil.

Season one of Border Security: America’s Front Line uncovers new and fascinating stories at various ports of entry into the USA, primarily along the Northern Border with Canada. Shooting takes place at land crossings in Blaine, Washington; Buffalo, New York; Detroit and Port Huron, Michigan; and at major airports including New York’s JFK, Chicago O’Hare and Detroit Metro. At Chicago and New York’s massive international mail facilities, we’ll watch officers uncover the dangerous and bizarre items people attempt to smuggle in from all over the world.

In search of illegal travellers, weapons, and contraband, there’s never a dull moment for the men and women of the CBP who protect America’s border. Guns, drugs, money and more – it’s all in a day’s work for CBP officers.
